2. Seniors are resources for our community.
-Goals of our club activities
In our country, seniors who had retired were considered to be a burden by
the government, community, and themselves. A word gseniors "or "elderly h
were always brought up with words such as social security, nursing homes.
Therefore, seniors were thought to be very behind in information.
All the classes for seniors are held just to entertain the seniors, and
senior nursing centers are central for gateballs, games, hot spa,karaoke,
and many
other entertainments.
With exception of 10% of the seniors who need to be nursed, most of seniors
are fine, and wish to present themselves and contribute to the society, if
an opportunity were given.
In the past three years, we have been trying to prove that seniors are the
resource for our society if they are equipped with enough skills and
knowledge to contribute to the society.
